Installation (for roller blinds motor)

1. Attach the SCM to the blinds motor using the included connector cable as shown

2. (optional) Use the included double-sided adhesive to hide the SCM from view

Installation (for TU12 sheer curtain motor)

1. Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the SCM compartment cover as shown.

2. Insert the SCM into the compartment top first, then snap the bottom into place.

Network Commissioning

1. Ensure motor is not in Deep Sleep
2. Press the SCM button The SCM Status LED will start a blink sequence with 4 quick green blinks followed by a short pause.
3. At this time, complete the commissioning process by following the on-screen instructions of the desired smart-home ecosystem provider.

If the motor was in Deep Sleep Mode when the SCM is first installed, please wake the motor up, then initialise the SCM by pressing the SCM button once. The SCM Status LED will blink green once to indicate successful initialisation. Then proceed to step #1.

Apple Home

Steps 

1. Open 'Home' app on your Apple device

2. Press the '+' icon at the top right

3. Select 'Add Accessory'

4. Scan the QR Code on the SCM with the integrated QR Code scanner

5. Follow the rest of the on-screen instructions to complete pairing

Google Home

Steps 

1. Open 'Google Home' app on your desired device

2. Press 'Devices' located in the bottom row

3. Press 'Add device' at the centre

4. Choose 'Matter-enabled device'

5. Enter the code found on the SCM as instructed by the app

6. Follow the rest of the on-screen instructions to complete pairing

SCM Factory Reset

1. Press and hold the SCM button until the SCM Status LED lights up as solid amber.
2. Release the SCM button

If the SCM has been previously commissioned to a network, a factory reset is required before it can be com- missioned once more.
