Hoping to give your home that modern edge it’s been missing? At Dendo Systems, we’re your number-one provider of automatic roller blind motors that are affordable, durable and efficient. With decades of shared experience in product development and engineering, you can trust our experts to always deliver world-class customer service and motorised roller blinds at an unbeatable price.

While many of our competitors offer roller blind automation services that require their electric roller blinds to be pre-wired to your windows, we provide rechargeable, battery-operated roller blind motors that you can easily install yourself. This means an efficient, speedy process that means you can enjoy all the benefits of your battery-operated blind motor as soon as possible.

However, if you don’t have the time or the confidence to install your new motor for roller blinds or electric sheer curtains by yourself then we also offer professional motor blind installation services that are fast and efficient. Because our blind motors are battery-operated, they have no messy cords and you’ll receive a roller blind automation kit that can be seamlessly integrated into your existing blinds for a clean and sleek appearance. The tubular motor fits inside the tube of your blind, remaining hidden from sight and resulting in an efficient and ultra-modern window blind motor.

A Smart Blind Motor for a Smart Home

At Dendo, we supply you with a smart blind motor that can be linked with smart devices like your phone, tablet, Google Home or Alexa via the Bond Bridge. This means having the ultimate control of your automatic blind roller from anywhere in your house or anywhere in the world.

With the help of your smart roller blind motor, you can place your blinds on a set timer and have complete control over the amount of sunlight and UV rays entering your home through your automatic blind openers. This allows for the ultimate peace of mind, with your blinds’ smart motor keeping your energy bills down and keeping your home at an optimal temperature at all times.

FAQs

If your roller blinds are custom made to measure, and were purchased in Australia within the last 10 years, then they are most likely compatible.

For detailed compatibility information, please see: System Compatibility.

The BlindWinder RZ28 runs on internal rechargeable batteries. Therefore, an electrician is not required for installation.

Technically speaking, there is a minimum width requirement and a maximum weight capacity.

The overall blind width must be greater than 550mm, and weigh no more than 4.5Kg. Since the weight can be hard to gauge, a simple rule of thumb is the total fabric area should not exceed 7 square metres. If uncertain, please feel free to get in touch with our team at info@dendo.com.au.

In many cases you do not need any tools at all. If you need to attach a bracket adapter, then you will need a phillips head screwdriver. A flathead screwdriver might also come in handy to help with prying some parts.

It depends on the size of the blind as well as how frequently it is being used. As a general rule of thumb, for an average sized blind doing one up/down cycle eacjh day, you should expect around 6 months of battery life per charge.

The short answer is no. Whilst it is possible to do it with some workarounds, a non-trivial level of technical knowhow is required.
